The Circuit Clerk is the official record keeper for the Circuit and Family Courts of Hampshire County, West Virginia. Some of the duties performed by the Circuit Clerk are the filing of civil, criminal, juvenile and domestic cases. The circuit clerk also serves as the jury administrator for the court and is responsible for the management of the petit and grand jurors. The circuit clerks office also processes passport applications, maintains court dockets and also collects various fees associated with cases such as filing fees, court costs, fines, and bonds.

Be advised that beginning May 18, 2020, the Hampshire County Judicial Center will remain closed to the public except for approved in-person hearings or approval from appropriate office management. We continue to strongly advise individuals to call before planning to visit the Hampshire County Judicial Center to establish if an in-person visit is necessary.
