Please note the Circuit Clerk nor the deputy clerks are attorneys and they cannot offer any legal advice or aid in filing out any forms. Also be advised that there is not a Notary of the Public in the Circuit Clerk office. Notarization of any and all documents must be made prior to filing. Click here for a list of filing fees.
Note: Hampshire County is an e-file county. This means that all filings are to be electronically filed through the WV e-File website unless filing ProSe.
ProSe (or self litigant) cases must be filed in the office of the Hampshire County Circuit Clerk.
Please be advised that some of the forms linked on our website from the WV Supreme Court of Appeals will not open in Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge browsers.
