There are various case types handled by the Hampshire County Circuit Clerk for both the Circuit and Family Court. Follow the links below for a description of these types as well as links to forms supplied by the WV Supreme Court of Appeals if available.
Please note the Circuit Clerk nor the deputy clerks are attorneys, and they cannot offer any legal advice or aid in filling out any forms. Also, be advised that there is no Notary of the Public in the Circuit Clerk's office. Notarization of any documents must be made before filing. Click here for a list of filing fees.
Note: Hampshire County is an e-file county. This means that all filings are to be electronically filed through the WV e-File website unless filing ProSe.
ProSe (or self-litigant) cases must be filed in the office of the Hampshire County Circuit Clerk.
