Case Information & Forms

There are various case types handled by the Hampshire County Circuit Clerk for both Circuit and Family Court. Follow the links below for a description of the these types and as  well as links to forms supplied by the WV Supreme Court of Appeals if available.

Please note the Circuit Clerk nor the deputy clerks are attorneys and they cannot offer any legal advice or aid in filing out any forms. Also be advised that there is not a Notary of the Public in the Circuit Clerk office. Notarization of any and all documents must be made prior to filing. Click here for a list of filing fees.

Note: Hampshire County is an e-file county. This means that all filings are to be electronically filed through the WV e-File website unless filing ProSe.

ProSe (or self litigant) cases must be filed in the office of the Hampshire County Circuit Clerk.
